Retail | Stock Assistant
Immediate start. SPACE 519 | The Lunchroom is looking for a Retail | Stock Assistant who has a love and passion for the all things fashion. This position will work directly with the leadership of the business.
This position will:
Receive merchandise, check it in against orders, evaluate its condition, tagging, steam and prepare it for placement on the sale floor.
Be responsible for ensuring all merchandise is accurately entered into the POS system and the back stock is properly organized.
Move merchandise back and forth from the stockroom as it rotates on/off the sales floor.
Prepare packages that will be returned to vendors or shipped to clients.
Ideal candidates will have a degree in fashion studies (or comparable creative major) or commensurate experience in similar role, have a strong interest in learning the business of fashion or retail – preferably at the luxury level, willingness to provide excellent client service skills, outstanding organizational skills and strong attention to detail. They will be professional in appearance; gracious and friendly in demeanor; and polished to deliver exceptional service to the store’s upscale clientele. Ability to be handy and assist with store projects is a plus.
